The catalogue description is as follows:
'A printed book intitled "A True and Faithful Relation of what passed for many yeers between Dr. John Dee and Some Spirits" &c. "As also the letters of sundry Great Men and Princes to the said Dr. Dee. With a Preface, by Meric Casaubon DD." London, folio, 1659: carefully collated with the original Manuscript (Sloane 3188 [sic]) and with manuscript notes by Wm. Shippen of Stockport 1683-84 (See a letter addressed by him to Sir John Cotton in Append to Cotton -----). On the fly leaves are also some notes in another hand, by a friend of Ashmole's. Now deposited in the General Library of the Museum.'
