Art. 1 comprises folios 1-45. Folio 1r carries the title 'Liber Misteriorum Sextus et Sanctus'.

The MS contains a transcript of Sloane MS 3189 folios 3 - 9, 29r, 30v (partial) and 31 - 56. Folios 45 - 49r have been copied twice.

It is in at least two hands, neither of which appear to be Ashmole's. The MS contains a number of unnumbered folios, some of which are blank and some of which contain unlettered tables. The tables themselves are ruled in red ink, lettering is black.

Art. 2 (folios 47 - 49) is a separate work which begins "The Preface of John Michael Faustus..."
