sometimes they will just look better if u cut them down tot he shortist nail and start over.
growing them is free:)

but just remember nails dont need to "breath" they are dead tissue just like hair you can wear polish forever and you will be fine

i have worn acrylic or gel for 16 years and have not had my nails bare for more than a week in that time. i have never had a bacterial infection (the green or yellow that some call mold)

but then again if we are all quiet we might beable to hear our nails and hair breathing..
