help a guy out

i have been painting my nails for years now... the difference between me and you all, is that i'm terrified to let anyone find out... so i always take it off before i see anyone that i know. I wear nail polish under my socks all the time, and sometimes, even clear polish on my hands. Why do i like it so much? is this weird that i like it and dont want anyone to find out? What should i do to stop? should i stop? any help would be nice
