My Awful Nails

I have recently developed a weird problem with my nails... maybe someone knows how to fix this.

They are too soft and when I try to grow them long they wrap around inward... the corners bending in towards my finger tip. I tried cutting them all short and growing them again but that didnt help. I think I may have to resort to (gasp) false nails.

If anyone knows how to deal with this problem leave me a message. Thank you.
