Polish Remover

It seems that part of my nail chipping problem
occurs partly because my nail polish remover
is not effectively removing my base,
strengthener, and top coats.

My nails start chipping
and polish starts "pulling away"
from my cuticle area
less than four
days after my self-manicure.

The chipping is on the edge of
my nails.

The shiny coats look
like they are "pulling away"
from my cuticle area.

Does the above description make sense?
Can anyone relate?

Any suggestions for nail polish remover?
