Well, you answered your own question. :) You said that you destroyed them a month ago (you didn't say how though)--well, it takes at least 4 months for them to grow out completely from cuticle to tip. And I know it seems like they're not growing at all but as the weather gets colder, the growth in both hair and nails does slow down, and then speeds up again when the weather starts getting warm. Also, I have noticed that damaged nails seem to grow a lot slower than healthy nails. But I assure you, they are growing, it may just seem to take forever.
Make sure you're getting plenty of protein, calcium and minerals, and use cuticle oil (preferably with vitamins) several times a day, and that will help the new growth stay healthy as your nails grow out completely. :)
