I have a similar problem in that those who must be kept (read; my parents) tend to freak out the more goth I get - and unfortunately I also live in a small town where I get strange looks if I wear nail polish - regardless of how good it looks. I tend to keep the nail polish remover people in good business as I keep a load of it ready for when I need it - I generally slap the nail polish on then remove it whenever I'm going out with my parents or to school. However, I've no real tips to solve the situation - no matter how much I show my parents pictures of men wearing nail polish they just can't seem to accept it - so I have to settle for my long nails most of the time. Anyway - I would also appreciate any tips from anyone who has solved this problem, sorry I'm not a load of help - cheers.
