I managed to get hold of a steel fingernail that is about 2 inches long, I think the company were called metal works, although where to get them now i dont know. the problem with these is that to ensure a good fit your natural nail needs to be short (this might not be a problem for you)

you can get acrylic "claws" from a company on the net but i forget where, i just know that they cost a fortune (around $200 a set i think)
