Substitute solution for Outgro!

I've never used Outgro and have had many ingrown toenails over the years and finally looked into it which lead me here. Obviously, the effective formula is no longer available. :( HOWEVER, reading the descriptions of how it worked here (by deadening/toughening the skin) gave me an idea. I sometimes use Krazy glue (cyanoacrylite) on skin at the corners of my thumbs when it cracks and splits from dryness (insanely painful) and it works great. I've just trued applying Krazy glue to an ingrown big toe nail and so far it seems to be helping. I'd say the discomfort is cut at least 50% so far. In case you are wondering/worried, in a few days as the outer layers of skin naturally shed the hardened krazy glue layer will shed off as well.

If anyone can improve on this method please let me know!
