i have been wearing nailpolish for almost a year and a half, it all started one night when my now ex-girlfriend asked to paint my toenails, i really wanted her to, but i didnt really know what to say, but i told her to go ahead ne ways. and ever since then i have painted my toenails and even my fingernails. i love it. i wish it was excepted by more people for a guy to paint his nails. what really sux though is, that i live with my dad, and my mom caught me when i was in high school and got really mad at me for doing it. im really scared to go out in public anymore with my finger nails painted, i didnt care when i was with my ex, but now i do, probably for fear of criticism. i have never had ne complements for it, ppl just look at me funny, so now i only paint my fingernails when my dad is at work(he works nights) but my toenails are always painted, only blues and blacks though, i dont think i could go out in public with my toenails showing. i have never seen guys in wisconsin with their nails painted. although i got my first pedicure about 2 months ago, and the girl who did it was really nice and cool, and said she knew a couple of guys that come in and get a pedicure with nailpolish done,(she said they were mostly gay) and so i have thought about getting a pedicure with nail polish. i dont know yet. i still feel awkward.
