Stoped Biting my nails..but.

Hey , hopefully ill find an answer here.
I stopped biting my nails...they were realllly short! now the "moon" part is too much...I donno how to explain it..but when will the skin under the nail stick to the nail? usually..when ur nails are normal, and the moon part starts showing up...u know its time to cut....
I hope i make sense...
