Gothic Nail Care Forum "Backwards" manicure Posted By: Raina I saw this in a magazine a long long time ago, so I don't have the directions. I tried to do it myself from memory of the picture, but it got kind of... well, butchered. :\ Maybe someone could shed some light on the situation of an easier way to do this.

Okay, the main part of the nail (the nail bed and the tips) were all painted a dark color (I did mine black), and that little crescent moon by the cuticle whose technical name I do not now, was painted over it, a shade lighter (I used a gun metal color). Mine came out very sloppy because I just kind of winged it, so the shapes aren't really uniform or definitive. Bleh. Anyone have any suggestions on a cripser way to do this??
