In Response To: curving nails (gloria)

I have the same problem with my pointing fingers - especially on my right hand. From what I have been able to dig up, it is a deformity in the nail matix that causes the nail to grow in a way that will make it curve once it is no longer being supported by the nail bed. (i.e. the problem starts where the nail is first formed, below the cuticle.) Since I don't want to use a false nail even on one finger, I'd love to find a way to correct this!!!!

I am thinking of trying to make a type of cast for the nail while I sleep.. maybe I can keep it straight over night and it will keep that form for the day?
